Risuko By: David Kudler   I could not believe how good this book was, I instantly was connected to the characters, their stories, and their world. Can one Girl win a war, well if its Risuko I have no doubts! She is one Strong resilient girl. I really loved reading this historical adventure and cannot wait for a sequel. I highly recommend.       its about:   My name is Kano Murasaki, but most people call me Risuko . Squirrel. I am from Serenity Province, though I was not born there. My nation has been at war for a hundred years, Serenity is under attack, my family is in disgrace, but some people think that I can bring victory. That I can be a very special kind of woman. All I want to do is climb. My name is Kano Murasaki, but everyone calls me Squirrel. Risuko. Though Japan has been devastated by a century of civil war, Risuko just wants to climb trees. Gambit

Gambit By: C.L. Denault                I am a little  obsessed  with this book, Gambit makes you want to read it over and over again from begging to end, casting some sort of spell over you binding you to every word on every last page. I cannot wait for book 2 if this is how amazing book one was, it has a great story, outstanding cover art and great writing. I highly recommend. Its about: In Earth’s battle-ridden future, humans have evolved. Those with extraordinary skills rise to power and fame. Those without live in poverty. Litle Black Fish

Little Black Fish By:Bizhan Khodabandeh     Little Black Fish is one of the most well known modern Persian children's story, and now in my opinion is one of the best children's stories that has ever been turned into a graphic novel I really enjoyed this book, the beautifully drawn pictures and the incredible story simply put. this was just amazing to say the least   it's about: Based on the Persian children's classic by Samad Behrangi, this book is about a young fish's courage to question authority and strike out on her own An inquisitive little fish decided to question authority and leave the safety of her own home to venture out into the expansive sea. The creatures she meets along the way teach her important lessons and make her learn the most valuable treasure in life: freedom.

Gorilla Tactics-Dr. Critchlore's School for Minions

Gorilla Tactics-Dr. Critchlore's School for Minions By: Sheila Grau       This is one of the best children's books I have this year, the series reminds me of the Falcon Quinn chronicles which I really enjoyed. It's a fresh take on monsters/minions, its a fantasy, school filled with everyday school issues and rivalries and a secret that gets uncovered which I never saw coming. I thoroughly  recommend   it's about:    Runt Higgins needs answers, fast. Someone cursed him to die on his sixteenth birthday, but no one seems to know who cursed him or why. Runt decides he must find the Great Library, where all true knowledge is hidden. Unfortunately, the only people who know the location of the Great Library are a covert network of librarian-spies who’d rather die than give up the Library’s secrets. And when one of Runt’s professors is attacked, it soon becomes clear that others are also out to find the Library at any cost. Meanwhile, Runt’s n...
