Superman Vol. 1 Before Truth

Superman Vol. 1 Before Truth By: Gene Luen Yang     The art did not meet my expectations from previous experiences with DC comics, The Story was unfoucesed and disaconnected in my opionion. The art seems to be a modern take on Superman but just came off blotchy and hard to look at. I love Superman Comics but truthfully this was a bit of a let down.   It's About: The new storyline "TRUTH" continues with the debut of the amazing new creative team of writer Gene Luen Yang (AMERICAN BORN CHINESE) and continuing artists John Romita Jr. and Klaus Janson! Superman's biggest secret--his true identity--has remained safe until now. What will happen when the big secret is revealed?

The Travlers

The Travlers By:Chris Pavone   The Travlers was on amazing rush, throwing you into the life of Will Rhodes. each chapter brings you deeper into the world of spies this novel full of great plots, cliffhangers, and the beytral of those closest to him is a must read. I loved this book so much i read it twice. I highly recommened.   It’s. Starts;   3:00am. Do you know where your husband is? Meet Will Rhodes: travel writer, recently married, barely solvent, his idealism rapidly giving way to disillusionment and the worry that he’s living the wrong life. Then one night, on assignment for the award-winning Travelers magazine in the wine region of Argentina, a beautiful woman makes him an offer he can’t refuse. Soon Will’s bad choices—and dark secrets—take him across Europe, from a chateau in Bordeaux to a midnight raid on a Paris mansion, from a dive bar in Dublin to a mega-yacht in the Mediterranean and an isolated cabin perched on the rugged cliffs of Icelan...

Murder, She Wrote: Design For Murder

Murder, She Wrote: Design For Murder   By: Jessica Fletcher , Donald Bain , Renée Paley-Bain        Reading Design for murder was as if I had stepped into an episode of Murder She Wrote. Jessica Fletcher was just as funny, sweet, mild tempered, well mannered an curious as ever. She is the most adorable mystery detective since Miss Marple. The Story is very well written with a great plot of course, I have to say the end of the book was a big surprise. I highly recommend!   its about:  Jessica is in Manhattan to attend the debut of a new designer. Formerly Sandy Black of Cabot Cove, the young man has reinvented himself as Xandr Ebon, and is introducing his evening wear collection to the public and—more important—to the industry's powers-that-be: the stylists, the magazine editors, the buyers, and the wealthy clientele who can make or break him. At the show, the glitz and glamour are dazzling until a young model—...

Camp Rolling Hills

Camp Rolling Hills 1 By: Stacy Davidowitz   This is a hilarious tale of boys versus girls and a little league version of Romeo and Juliet, It has some sad part to it but over all a great book!     It's about:   Finally, it's summer! Stephanie—aka Slimey—has been counting the days until she can return to her favorite place in the entire world, Camp Rolling Hills. And this year she's especially happy to be back—she'll have eight blissful weeks away from home, where life has been decidedly rocky.          New kid Bobby, on the other hand, is pretty sure he's in for the worst summer of his life. He does not understand his weirdo cabinmates, the group singing, and the unfortunate nicknames (including his: Smelly). But he does understand Slimey, and the two soon fall in crush. This summer might not be so bad after all!          But then a fight sets off an epic, campwide, gir...

The Imitation Game: Graphic novel

The Imitation Game: Graphic novel By: Jim Ottaviani   This is a great companion with the movie, It is a very in depth plot which is based on historical events  I thoroughly liked this novel  because I was able to learn a lot of things I didn't know. (I am just  telling you guys ahead of time history always has sad parts so be prepared.)  I highly recommend this novel to all historical book lovers and graphic novel fans! Its' about:   Today, Alan Turing is considered the father of theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence. The mathematician, born on June 23, 1912, was a brilliant World War II codebreaker and parlayed that insight into theorizing and creating the first stored-memory computers. Unfortunately, this Officer of the British Empire was persecuted by the British government of the time for his homosexuality and suffered through chemical castration before ending his life.

The Haters

The Haters By: Jesse Andrews The Haters is a great hilarious novel about being a hater, having a crush, and being a little different then the average teen. Also about finding yourself and maybe also an awesome band on the way.  I have never liked or even was interested in jazz until this book I guess I am a hater to in some sense. (The characters are so relatable, I can defiantly see myself being friends with Ash In real life we would be besties!) The writing  though reminds me of Rick Riordan's red pyramid series, How the writing style is it makes you think you could actually talk with these characters. I really enjoyed this book. it starts: For Wes and his best friend, Corey, jazz camp turns out to be lame. It's pretty much all dudes talking in Jazz Voice. But then they jam with Ash, a charismatic girl with an unusual sound, and the three just click. It's three and a half hours of pure musical magic, and Ash makes a decision: They need to hit the road. ...
