When We Were: Book Review!

When We Were By: Alexandra Diaz      This was such a great novel! Perfect to read with friends, or to read solo.   (I was comparing my friends the whole time, to the friends in the book and I have decided I'm defiantly Pinkie.)   When we were is fantastic! So funny! It's a novel which is full of life and relatable characters. I think it is a great coming of age novel that everyone should at least read once.   Also has a relationship all fans like me will be tearing their hair out till they find out if David gets the girl. I am a David fan forever!   Its about:   No one messes with Whitney Blaire or her friends, which is why she can’t help but let it slip that someone spotted Tara’s boyfriend making out with one of the guy cheerleaders. Even after spending hours training for her marathon, down-to-earth Tara can't outrun the rumors about the boyfriend she thought was perfect. Pinkie , the rock and "B...

Arrgh! Review

Arrgh! By Stacey R. Campbell   This is a great way to introduce your kids to the life of Pirates, or shipmates. It's a fun, family friendly, book for all ages! I was very surprised at the kind of Narnia turn of the book, but I think a mouse is probably one of the best companions you can have on a ship! I highly recommend this book!   Its about:     Christopher who is Forced to remain silent after being kidnapped by pirates, and must find a way to save the Georgiana's captain and his daughter from the evil grasp of Red Blade. On this quest to fight for friendship and family no matter what, Christopher gets help from a wise mouse, a friendly cook, a feisty monkey, and the captain's daughter herself, but will it be enough to defeat a band of ruthless pirates determined to rule the Seven Seas?

The Heartless City

The Heartless City By: Andrea Berthot                                I love this book, (I did an all nighter to finish it.) . The Heartless City (great title and cover) is one of the best tales of the story Jekyll & Hyde I have ever read. The characters are relatable, the writing is fantastic, its filled with love, horror, drama, and betrayal. I feel sad when I read parts with Cam but I guess that means I feel like i could actually meet these characters. The only thing that I think could change is that they should have brought in Iris's dad ( who I can't reveal) into the book at the end. To sum it up: It starts in London with Henry Jekyll who was a brilliant doctor, a passionate idealist who aimed to free mankind of selfishness and vice. He’s also the man who carelessly created a race of monsters. Once shared secretly amon...

Beyond The Veil Review

Beyond The veil By: Pippa Dacosta                                      This reminded me of books written by Patricia Briggs.                                  It's a paranormal, fantasy, rush!                           Filled with romance, betrayal, and a super mind blowing twist.   It's begins with: "T hey say I’m half a demon, but I like to think of myself as half human, especially as the demons want me dead.” Charlie Henderson is living a lie. Her real name is Muse and her attempt at a normal life is about ...

Net-Galley reviews!

My first one is Scrap city BY: D.S. Thornton This is a must read for all kids looking for a great book to cuddle up with and get thrown into an epic adventure. I couldn't stop reading i couldn't even tear myself away. The writing was amazing, the characters actually had you crying and laughing, with them. It's about if you believe that under the ground, right beneath your city, was another city? Would you believe it was populated with Scrappers, people built of metal and glass and stone? Jerome has no choice but to believe it after he meets Arkie. Arkie is a Scrapper, and he and Jerome quickly become friends—maybe even brothers. So when Arkie's city is in danger, Jerome knows he must help. But helping Arkie means hurting Jerome's dad, the only real family Jerome still has I highly recommend  this is definitely  worth checking out. My Second one is MANGA CLASSICS: Emma By: Jane Austen, Po Tse, Crystle S Chan, Stacy King     ...

A Little Off Topic

HI guys I am making a hopefully short but sweet post about cool Halloween DIY's (Do It Yourself). This First DIY is thanks to a pretty awesome YouTuber Jennifer Valentine   with her great drink Idea. You guys should really try this out. I know I am definitely going too. Although I think I'm going to add frozen hands to mine. To make it super creepy. To Make Frozen hands: Just fill a plastic glove with water tie of the glove with a rubber band and freeze until solid peel off plastic and place frozen hand in your punch.
